Abstract
A method is described for the determination of the total numbers of bone marrow cells in the rat femur. Administration of corticosterone to adrenalectomized rats results in significant increases in the numbers of nucleated erythroid cells and decreases in the numbers of neutrophils and eosinophils within femoral marrow. Keywords
