Composition dependence of the spin-orbit splittings in lattice-matched quaternary alloys: Generalized Van Vechten-Berolo-Woolley model

Abstract
We present a model including both inter- and intraband disorder-induced mixing which accounts for the recently observed composition dependence of the valence-band spin-orbit splittings and in the quaternary alloys InGaAsP and GaAlInAs lattice matched to InP.
