Abstract
For pt.I see ibid., vol.10L, p.269 (1977). The reduction of the Faddeev equations due to Ball et al. (1968) has been further applied to the calculation of ground-state energies of e+e+e-, H-, D-, He, Li+ and Be2+. The 2p and 3p Sturmian functions have been included in the expansion of the two-body amplitude. Closer agreement has been found with the experimental and variational results for He, Li+ and Be2+. Systems of unequal mass and the molecular ion H2+ are commented on.Keywords
