Further results from charge-exchange photoproduction

Abstract
It is shown that the energy dependence of charge-exchange a2+ photoproduction (γpna2+) agrees with a one-pion exchange mechanism. No evidence for the photoproduction of the a1+(1260) is observed. If the dynamics of a1 and a2 photoproduction are assumed to be the same, the absence of evidence for the a1 is shown to be consistent with either an extremely large a1 hadronic width or with an a1 of mass somewhat less than 1260 MeV.
