Abstract
It is shown that arguments given by Edwards and Kamal, against the explanation of the experimental value keV by an SU(3)-scalar term in the electromagnetic current operator, are wrong. Sensitive experimental criteria for such an SU(3)-scalar term are listed and the very recently obtained experimental value of the branching ratio is discussed.
