Yrast decay schemes from heavy-ion +Ca48fusion-evaporation reactions: IV:Cr53,V54,Co62, andNi6163

Abstract
Fusion-evaporation reactions induced by beams of 25-55 MeV Be9 and O18 on an isotopically enriched Ca48 target have been used to populate high-spin yrast levels in Cr53, V54, Co62, and Ni6163. Measurements consisted of γ-ray excitation functions, angular distributions, γγ coincidences, and recoil-distance and Doppler shift lifetime measurements, from which were deduced the energy levels, γ-ray branching ratios, most probable spin-parity assignments, and level lifetimes.
