Abstract
The serum colloidal gold tests of 15 of 19 patients proved by needle biopsy to have struma lymphomatosa showed significant reduction of colloidal gold solution in serial dilutions with grades greater than 551-000. The method used, a modification of the serum colloidal gold test of Maclagan, is described. The sera of appropriate controls were also tested. The positivity of the reaction is believed to be due to a decreased serum albumin and an increased serum gamma globulin in these patients. Keywords
