Abstract
The enzyme was shown to catalyze the transfer reaction of guanylyl group from guanosine-2[image]3[image]-cyclic phosphate to adenosine, guanosine, cytidine, uridine, their resp. nucleotides, and resp. 2[image],3[image]-cyclic phosphates to form the resp. guanylic compounds, except that polymerized guanylic acid(s) was formed when guanosine-2[image]3[image]-cyclic phosphate was the acceptor at the same time. ECTELA column chromatography by using 0.01[image] phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) containing the increasing concentrations of NaCl as the eluants gave 3 major oligoguanylic acid fractions. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
