Abstract
A value for the 57mFe nuclear quadrupole moment of 0.175 ± 0.02 has been determined from a comparison of the quadrupole splittings in the Mössbauer data of ferrocene and the pure nuclear quadrupole resonance of 59Co in cobalticinium perchlorate. The value is in good accord with recent calculations of Fe(II) complexes in the solid state. This publication has 24 references indexed in Scilit:
