Abstract
The development of practical and high-performance optoelectronic device technology at BT Laboratories (BTL) for millimetre-wave analogue optical links is described. Two-moded lasers (for the transmitter) and heterojunction bipolar phototransistors (for the receiver) are discussed in detail. Keywords
