Abstract
Presentation of Case First admission. A seventy-nine-year-old man entered the hospital because of pain in the leg.Six months previously he experienced an episode of pain in the chest with radiation to the left arm. He believed that he had been admitted to another hospital at that time but could recall no details. Two weeks before admission the right leg became cold and painful and did not improve.Physical examination revealed an elderly, confused man.
