Decay constants and mixing parameters in a relativistic model for aqQ¯system

Abstract
We extend our recent work, in which the Dirac equation with a “(asymptotically free) Coulomb + (Lorentz scalar γ0σr) linear” potential is used to obtain the light quark wave function for qQ¯ mesons in the limit mQ, to estimate the decay constant fP and the mixing parameter B of the pseudoscalar mesons. We compare our results for the evolution of fP and B with the meson mass MP to the nonrelativistic formulas for these quantities and show that there is a significant correction in the subasymptotic region. For σ=0.14GeV2 and ΛMS¯=0.240GeV we obtain fD=0.371,fDs=0.442,fB=0.301,fBs=0.368GeV, and BD=0.88,BDs=0.89,BB=0.95,BBs=0.96, and BK=0.60.
