Abstract
A case of Cushing''s syndrome associated with a basophilic carcinoma of the pituitary gland is presented. Evidence (including a plasma ACTH assay) is presented to indicate that it was an ACTH-producing tumor. A short review of the previously reported cases of Cushing''s syndrome associated with carcinoma of the pituitary is given. The unusual ocular signs and some interesting aspects of urinary steroid excretion are discussed. Keywords
