Abstract
Urine was collected daily from 150 boys from the 2d to the 6th day of life and analyzed chemically. In addition to large amounts of estriol, only traces, if any, of estrone and estradiol-17B were present in the urine of new-born boys from the 2d day of life on. Human chorionic gonadotrophin, when administered to new-boms, did not influence the quantity and nature of the urinary estrogens. Keywords
