Abstract
Intramusc. injn. provokes a profuse secretion of canine pancreatic juice which flows at a constant rate and continues for at least 24 hrs. The duodenal mucosa, continuously subjected under these circumstances to contents with a pH between 1 and 2, rapidly becomes friable and quickly ulcerates when subjected to trauma which has no apparent effect under ordinary conditions. Keywords
