On the Presence of a Gonadotropic Inhibiting Material in Human Urine1

Abstract
Suitably prepared extracts of urine of men were tested for the presence of an inhibitor of urinary gonadotropin by the augmentation reaction, the ventral prostate weight, and the uterine and the ovarian weight bio-assays in rats. All attempts to demonstrate a gonadotropin inhibitor using these standard assays in the rat were unsuccessful.
