Studies Related to the Presence of a Gonadotropin-Inhibiting Material in Human Urine

Abstract
Suitably prepared extracts of urine of men and children were tested in the mouse uterine weight assay for the presence of an inhibitor of urinary gonadotropin. Attempts to demonstrate a gonadotropin inhibitior prepared from the urine of men and children were unsuccessful except when "inhibitor" exerted a toxic effect on the test animals.
